Vendor lock-in is not a single question. It should be separated into at least four dimensions: data, AI model, interface and process definition.

Data

Customer data should be returnable or exportable according to the applicable contractual terms and platform mechanisms.

AI client and model

Flowvenue separates the process from the AI client. Through MCP, the same process can be used from different compatible clients, reducing dependence on a single conversational interface.

Integrations

Integrations remain based on external systems, APIs and organization-owned credentials. The process orchestrates those systems but does not replace them.

Process definition

Portability of the full process definition is different from data export. Before enterprise adoption, it is reasonable to verify which configuration elements can be exported, replicated or reconstructed in other systems.

The right question

Rather than asking whether “zero lock-in” exists, organizations should distinguish which assets remain theirs, which are exportable and which depend on the Flowvenue runtime.
